Collagen Protein supports Glowing Skin, Stronger Nails, Muscle Recovery, Joints and Gut Health
Collagen is an odourless, tasteless, dairy free protein source. Research shows it's particularly beneficial for gut health, joint and tendon health, recovery and hair, skin and nails. This is because it contains a unique combination of 18 amino acids, including Glycine, Hydroxyproline and Proline which account for nearly half of collagen's amino acid content.
Supports immunity and performance
Collagen is high in Alanine which enhances performance by increasing exercise capacity and decreasing muscle fatigue. It also helps the body use sugars, and has antioxidant, immune-enhancing and anti-aging properties.
Supports muscle growth and wound repair
Collagen is high in Arginine which has two effects: it turns into nitric oxide and helps the body build protein. This helps support heart health, build muscles, repair wounds and improves male fertility.
Supports metabolism, skin and gut health
Collagen is high in Glutamic acid which is an alpha-amino acid used in protein biosynthesis in the human body. It helps in metabolism, brain, and cardiac functions. In the skin, Glutamic acid helps to keep the skin's pH value intact. It may help people with hypochlorhydria (low stomach acid) or achlorhydria (no stomach acid).
Supports heart and liver health, improves sleep
Collagen is high in Glycine contributes to cellular growth and health including decreasing oxidative stress, improving brain and muscle performance, aiding in Diabetes management and prevention,
decreasing risk of heart attack, protecting the liver from alcohol damage and improving sleep quality.
Supports bones and tendons
Collagen is high in Hydroxyproline which gives strength to the protein collagen in the bones, tendons, cartilage and skin. It's produced by hydroxylation of proline, with the help of Vitamin C.
Supports your body's collagen production
Collagen is high Proline which plays important roles in protein synthesis and structure, metabolism, and nutrition, as well as wound healing, antioxidative reactions, and immune responses.

Frequently asked questions
The unflavoured collagen protein powder is tasteless. You won't notice it in your smoothies, tea, coffee, baking, etc
Collagen is an odourless, tasteless, dairy free protein source that's a co-product of beef. We like it because it's a great environmentally friendly option and easier on the gut than other proteins like whey. Besides being a great protein source, there's also a bunch of new research suggesting it's beneficial for gut health, joint and tendon health, recovery and hair, skin and nails.
In our flavoured options there is 11g of collagen per 15g serve. In our unflavoured option there is 15g of collagen per 15g serve (100% collagen). Most of the research for collagen supplementation is on 2.5g to 15g of collagen per day. You can take more, but there doesn't seem to be additional benefit according to the studies. You may though like to take more if you're having trouble hitting your daily protein requirements.
We use 100% Australian grass-fed bovine hydrolysed collagen peptides. Grown, hydrolysed and packed in Australia.
Yes! And more environmentally friendly than other protein sources such as whey, soy and pea.
Collagen is a co-product of animal agriculture which means if we weren't using it for a health food product it'd be going to landfill.
While grass-fed collagen isn't any better nutritionally speaking than grain-fed collagen, grass-fed is kinder to the planet.
Collagen Powder is a clean protein source that can be enjoyed daily by anyone. It's also great pre or post workout.
Yes! It's an essential nutrient. Collagen is also the most abundant protein in the body, so keeping up a healthy stock of collagen is important for us all, including kids who are growing fast.

No, collagen comes from animal sources so collagen is not vegan. There are plant based "collagen" powders starting to appear which essentially mimic the same amino acid profile of natural collagen, but to date there's not a lot of research showing it's efficacy and the research that does exist suggests you'd need 6 times as much to get a similar effect.
There are also vegan “collagen” products out there that don’t contain any collagen but claim to increase the body's own collagen production.
We do have many customers following a plant based diet who consume our products as a way to get important nutrients without eating meat. Think of collagen as an odourless, tasteless white powdered form of bone broth.
This collagen powder is certified Halal. It's not yet certified Kosher.
This collagen powder will last on the shelf for up to 24 months. The date on the product is a best before date, not an expiry date, which means it's a question of taste after that date.
This is because it can tend to get too thick and clumpy, and also to separate. Over time collagen protein in solution will start to denature (which occurs when proteins unravel and lose their structure) and it there is also a slight risk that microbes that may have been introduced from other ingredients or surfaces, could start growing. Refrigerating your shake will help preserve the structure of the protein, preventing unwanted clumping or separation, and also slow this down the growth of any microbes. Freezing will stop any micro growth and preserve the structure of the protein for a much longer period.
One serving is 15g which is approximately:
- 2 heaped 15ml tablespoons, or;
- 2 flat 20ml tablespoons
Most tablespoons in your kitchen drawer will be 10ml to 15ml. In Australia, a standard measuring spoon will have a 20ml tablespoon. Internationally, a standard tablespoon is 15ml.
Note that 15ml is not 15g of powder and 20ml is not 20g of powder, weight depends on the density of what's being measured. This is why 20ml of collagen powder is around 15g.
