About the Beef Brisket Bars
Eat clean on the move with our steak bar - a clean, meaty snack bar to satisfy your savoury cravings. Each snack bar starts off as 80g of organic, grass-fed beef brisket and topside; we just take out the water weight. We slow dry the bars to create a tender and easy-to-eat snack bar that's packed full of flavour and nutrients. Whether you're embarking on a new adventure or simply need a quick, satisfying snack, our beef bars are the perfect choice.
About the Biltong
When you want a clean snack to satisfy your savoury cravings, you'll love our biltong. Just like slow cooking is better than zapping in a microwave, we slow air dry our beef which means it's naturally more tender and healthier than jerky. Free from all the nasty stuff you usually find in dried and cured meats, very low in sugar and taste the difference with organic, grass-fed and grass-finished Aussie beef.
About the Collagen Bars
Stop eating junk with this biscuity, nut butter based snack to satisfy your sweet cravings! It's easy to find bars with great macros, or with clean ingredients, but it's hard to find both. We've done it with these bars, incredible macros AND clean ingredients!
See the "What's in the box" tab below for flavour details. Suitable for the whole family.

About Chief Beef Bars
Like jerky, but better
Unlike most jerky, we naturally preserve our beef just as our ancestors did - without nasty preservatives which destroy gut health. A lot of jerky is also surprisingly high in sugar, but not these. And, they're slow dried which makes them much more tender than jerky. Better is an understatement.
High Protein
Packed full of nature's original protein, with as much protein as 3 eggs, to fill you up fast.
Low Sugar
Naturally low sugar. The beef bars have a little natural sugar from a small amount of dried fruit (added for taste and vitamins).
Better Skin, Hair, Nails
Supports healthy skin which in turn supports your nails and hair.
Nutrient Dense
Over 50% of the original weight of beef (water) is removed leaving all the protein, minerals and essential vitamins.
Easy to Eat and Digest
Our beef bars and biltong is slow dried which makes it tender, easy to chew, and easy to digest.
No Antibiotics or Hormones
Free from antibiotics and growth hormones found in the majority of beef.

Jennie J.Verified BuyerReviewingOrganic Beef Bars - Smokey BBQ - Rated 5 out of 5 stars23 hours agoAddictive, what?
The Hazlenut Brownie bars are satisfying, protein-rich bars that are ever so slightly addictive - meaning, while one is enough to satisfy, I do look forward to tomorrow afternoon's bar too. :)

Absolutely delicious. Perfect snack size. So tender and a great smokey BBQ flavour.
Robyn H.Verified BuyerReviewingOrganic Biltong - Smokey BBQ - Rated 2 out of 5 starsYesterdayBiggest fan of these bars but the shrinkage is wild
I have been buying these bars for years now. I’m actually a chief bar addict. The bars used to be an actual bar now they are the size of a Tim Tam biscuit. The price remains the same but it’s now half the size. I’m starting to feel ripped off, every time I order they get smaller.
CNChief NutritionYesterdayHi Rose, thanks so much for your feedback! You're not the only one who raised this, so we have posted a video 😅: https://www.instagram.com/p/DcDacKqlEmt/
Rest assured while the bars are shorter they're still the same weight (i.e. the same amount of ingredients are going in). You can test this for yourself if you have a kitchen scale, they should be at least 45g (usually more like 48g to 50g) otherwise our machinery would have ditched them automatically. If you find one under 45g please let us know!
The issue has been when the bars are being formed they're squishing a little which makes them a different shape/shorter. We think we've solved it now so hopefully back to normal soon!

The most delicious yet clean protein bars I’ve ever had. So stoked with my purchase and will continue to keep these in my daily meal plans to ensure I’m hitting my protein target.
Tiahna G.Verified BuyerReviewingCollagen Protein Bars - Double Choc - Rated 5 out of 5 stars2 days agoA Staple in My Nutrition Routine
Chief Collagen Protein Bars have been a staple in my nutrition for months now, and I absolutely love them!
They’re my go to when that 3pm afternoon energy slump and sugar craving hits, and they’re also perfect when I feel like something sweet after dinner.
High in protein, made with collagen, low carb and low sugar, they tick so many of my nutritional boxes, especially as someone who works in the health and wellness space and is mindful of what I’m putting into my body.
I also love how convenient they are. I always pack a few when I’m travelling or know I’m going to be on the road all day. They’re satisfying, keep me feeling full, and make it so much easier to have a better option on hand when hunger hits.
Definitely one of my favourite protein snacks and something I genuinely enjoy and continue to repurchase!

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Our beef bars and biltong are made from organic beef and are a healthy savoury snack.
Our collagen bars are made from cashew nuts and collagen protein and are a healthy sweet snack.
-
Everyone asks us this and the best description we've heard is it's like a roast! If you like meat, you'll love these savoury bars (and our biltong too).
-
The best way to describe the taste would be like a nut butter biscuit. They're sweet but they’re very low in sugar because we use a natural sweetener (monk fruit).
-
All our meat is organic, grass-fed, grass-finished, added hormone free, antibiotic free and ethically raised Aussie beef. Sourced directly from family owned farms following regenerative practices. Free from Bovaer and other feed additives as the cattle graze pasture their whole lives.
-
Yes! Our kids love them and our whole range is perfect for kids. They are quite filling though so half a bar will probably be more than enough for the younger ones. Please note our collagen bars contain nuts.
-
Absolutely - that's when many women need more nutrition the most. Still, check with your healthcare provider first since they know your specific situation.
Some may warn you off dried meat during pregnancy because it's "not cooked" but there is nothing in our products that you would need to worry about while breastfeeding. They are very safe and in our personal experience we've found them to be great for pregnancy and breast feeding. In fact, high quality organic grass-fed beef is a fantastic supplement for mums who are growing human beings (and an important source of iron).
-
Yes! We have a money back guarantee so if you don't like them just contact us for a swap or a refund. Easy.
-
We dispatch the same business day if you order by 11am and the next day if you order after 11am. If you're in Australia or New Zealand it'll take a day to a few days depending on where you're located. Internationally is a bit longer but usually 1 to 2 weeks.
