I have never enjoyed a protein bar so much before. The flavours are exceptional, but what surprised me was the texture. They aren’t chewy or thick like many other brands, and I love the distribution of crunchy bits. Just enough to give some contrast. The ingredient list is also much better than other brands. I won’t be buying any other brands in future. The only problem I have found is in the chocolate coated bars. They were delivered to me and must’ve sat outside in the sun for a little while, because the coating melted to the inside of the packaging and has now become crumbly after going back in the fridge. This is causing chocolate bits to fall everywhere when I open them, meaning I need to be mindful about where I eat them. I’ve also found the packaging on the bars a little more difficult to open and it sometimes tears in an odd way. It would be excellent if they opened at the end more easily, rather than having to tear down the side, as this would reduce the amount of crumbs that leave the packet.

In the meantime, we recommend popping the choc bars in the fridge when they arrive to reset any melted chocolate. It won't affect the quality of the product in any way and personally I love them from the fridge and even from the freezer during summer!

The best way to describe the taste would be like a nut butter biscuit. They're sweet but they’re very low in sugar because we use a natural sweetener, monk fruit.
Collagen is an odourless, tasteless, dairy free protein source that's a co-product of beef. We like it because it's a great environmentally friendly option and easier on the gut than other proteins like whey.
Collagen protein is composed mainly of the amino acids glycine, proline, and hydroxyproline. We use grass-fed and grass finished bovine hydrolysed collagen peptides.

While we're not allowed to give advice and you should always check with your doctor or health professional, there is nothing in our products that you would need to worry about. Some doctors might flag the camu camu which is a berry - the reason for this is it’s high in Vitamin C and you can have too much Vitamin C, hence the general advice on camu camu. We don’t use a lot, there’s 0.24g in each bar which is about 7mg of Vitamin C and the recommended daily intake of Vitamin C is 75mg for women.
In our view, all our products are very safe and from personal experience we've found them to be great for pregnancy and breast feeding. In fact, collagen is a fantastic supplement for mums who are growing human beings.
