Trusted by the experts
Dr Naras Lapsys, Dietitian
"Every day, more and more studies confirm that processed food and in particular, processed carbohydrates, are just not good for us. Chief really tick all the boxes."
Jessica Turton, Dietitian
"Chief products give me the proteins, nutrients, and energy that I need - while saving me time! I love that their products are made from real food, and the added bonus is that they taste delicious."
Cliff Harvey, Nutritionist
"One of my 'go-tos' for a ketogenic diet. They're convenient, they include collagen (which is great for my beaten up ol' joints!), and MCTs to help you get into and sustain ketosis."
Collagen Bar Customer Reviews
Customers say these protein bars offer a delicious and satisfying snack experience. Many reviews mention the unique, crumbly texture that melts in the mouth. The diverse flavor range receives praise, with peanut butter, chocolate mint, and hazelnut brownie emerging as popular choices. Users appreciate them as convenient on-the-go snacks that work well for afternoon energy slumps and post-workout refueling. The bars are particularly valued for their filling nature without causing digestive discomfort. While most love the texture, some note it can be crumbly. Many find them ideal for travel, work, and outdoor activities.

The perfect box to try a bunch of different flavours! I’ve been taking these with me travelling and they’ve held up so well in my bag.
As a gluten and dairy-free girl travelling around India 🇮🇳, having protein bars with me has honestly been such a security blanket. When I’m out all day and not sure what food I’ll be able to find, I know I’ve always got something in my bag that I can eat, that tastes good and gives me the energy I need to keep going. ✨

I have a lemon collagen protein bar in my bag all the time. They’re my absolute go to when I’m in the go & don’t have time for a meal & don’t want to eat take away. I love the taste, they’re very filling & don’t spike blood sugar. Great for after workouts or just a delicious morning tea.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
The best way to describe the taste would be like a nut butter biscuit. They're sweet but they’re very low in sugar because we use a natural sweetener (monk fruit). We avoid stevia because it can have a lingering aftertaste.
-
Collagen is an odourless, tasteless, dairy free protein source that's a co-product of beef. We like it because it's a great environmentally friendly option and easier on the gut than other proteins like whey. Research shows it's beneficial for gut health, joint and tendon health, recovery and hair, skin and nails.

Chief Collagen bars are an very healthy and natural snack that can be enjoyed daily by anyone. They're also great pre or post workout.

Yes! We don't market them as a "keto" product because strict ketosis followers might have an issue with the small amount of maple syrup in them (which is negligible, contributing <0.5g of sugar per bar) but we have designed the bars in consultation with nutritionists and keto experts who have confirmed they very much qualify as, and are recommended by those experts as, keto friendly.
-
Yes! Our kids love them and our whole range is perfect for kids. They are quite filling though so half a bar will probably be more than enough for the younger ones. Please note they do contain nuts.
-
Absolutely - that's when many women need more nutrition the most. Still, check with your healthcare provider first since they know your specific situation.
