A heads up on our biltong, some products are delayed

For all our biltong fans out there, we're sad to say we've had a fire at one of our manufacturing plants which has created some real challenges for our supply of biltong for the coming weeks while we recommission machinery. Luckily, we have two plants so we will be okay but there will be some delays to be aware of.

What's going to be delayed

You'll see in our Shop that Smokey BBQ 30g and Traditional 30g and 90g bags are currently out of stock. The biggest challenge we have is that we will be without Smokey BBQ Biltong and Traditional Biltong 90g (plus our new Chipotle & Lime which was due to launch this month) until June. 

What you can do instead

We will have more stock of Traditional Biltong 30g arriving by 23 May which will also put our Beef Value Packs back into stock. You might also like our beef bars, collagen bars or perhaps try something from our sister brand Beauty Food.

What else you need to know

We are relying on our second manufacturing plant to help us through this period. This plant produces a slightly thicker cut than you may be currently used to. The recipe is the same and it tastes just as good, it's just sliced a little differently due to different machinery capabilities. If you try it and don't like it please just let us know and we'll sort you out.
