If you've been a long time fan of our biltong, you'll soon notice some changes and we have a bunch of exciting new flavours coming soon too!
Firstly, the bag has changed and this is because we want to reduce our plastic waste. We're on a path towards changing to compostable packaging and while we're not there yet, this is the first step.
Secondly, you'll notice the beef itself is thinner cut and more consistent in size. We've had feedback that some of you don't like the bigger chunks and while we know many of you loved them, this was creating a lot of issues with consistency. Essentially, our machinery would often pack too much or too little biltong into a packet and this created a lot of headaches for our quality control.
So, it's a change we think is for the better and we hope you agree! Next step is to launch our new flavours so keep your eyes peeled for those. We're also working on a bigger bag which many of you have asked for. Any questions, please drop us a note through the chat or our contact form.
