Each snack bar starts off as 80g of organic, grass-fed beef brisket and topside; we just take out the water weight. We slow dry the bars to create a tender and easy-to-eat snack bar that's packed full of flavour and nutrients. About the Biltong
When you want a clean snack to satisfy your savoury cravings, you'll love our biltong. Just like slow cooking is better than zapping in a microwave, we slow air dry our beef which means it's naturally more tender and healthier than jerky. Free from all the nasty stuff you usually find in dried and cured meats, very low in sugar and taste the difference with organic, grass-fed and grass-finished Aussie beef.

Unlike most jerky, we naturally preserve our beef just as our ancestors did - without nasty preservatives which destroy gut health. A lot of jerky is also surprisingly high in sugar, but not these. And, they're slow dried which makes them much more tender than jerky. Better is an understatement.

Honestly the chili and lime flavour is just not for me, nor is the texture of the brisket bars (makes me want to hurl, if you’re the kind of person who hates banana texture you will probably struggle with this!).
That said, the collagen protein bars are also “different” in texture, but I like them a lot! And the traditional biltong is also a big tick. So I still give this kit 5 stars for allowing me to test out different things and discover what I like (and don’t!). I recommend grabbing the kit if you’re just not sure.
