How to Have the Best Night’s Sleep Ever

Great sleep usually isn’t created by one magic hack. It’s the result of giving your body the right signals, at the right time, every day.

If you want to wake up feeling genuinely refreshed, start by treating sleep as something you prepare for — not something you simply hope happens when your head hits the pillow.

1. Start your sleep routine in the morning

Your best night’s sleep starts when you wake up.

Get outside and expose your eyes to natural daylight early in the day. Light is one of the strongest signals for your circadian rhythm — your body’s internal clock — and helps reinforce when you should feel alert and when you should start feeling sleepy later.

Add some movement during the day too. Regular exercise can support better sleep, but if hard evening sessions leave you buzzing, move them earlier and keep late-night exercise gentle.

2. Protect your caffeine cut-off

That 3pm coffee can still be hanging around when you’re trying to sleep.

Caffeine has a long half-life, so if sleep is a problem, experiment with keeping coffee and other caffeinated drinks to the morning or early afternoon.

Alcohol can also be deceptive. It may make you feel sleepy initially, but it can disrupt sleep later in the night. If deep, restorative sleep is the goal, less is generally better.

3. Make your bedroom boring

For once, boring is exactly what you want.

Keep your room dark, quiet and comfortably cool. Put the phone down, dim the lights and stop trying to squeeze one more email, episode or scroll into the day.

A simple wind-down routine performed in roughly the same order each evening can become a cue that the day is finished.

Shower.
Brush your teeth.
Read.
Stretch.
Breathe.
Sleep.

4. Build a proper night-time ritual

This is where Chief Sleep fits in.

Around 30 minutes before bed, mix one scoop of Chief Sleep into 250 mL of hot or cold water.

It’s a blueberry-and-vanilla night-time blend containing magnesium glycinate, glycine, L-theanine, tart cherry extract, reishi mushroom, passionflower and zinc.

Chief Sleep isn’t designed to replace good sleep habits.
It’s designed to become part of them.

The formula is designed to support relaxation and healthy sleeping patterns, promote deep, quality sleep and help reduce the time it takes to fall asleep.

There’s also something powerful about the ritual itself. Making the same drink, turning down the lights and stepping away from your screen creates a clear transition between “doing” and “sleeping.”

5. Stop trying so hard to sleep

One of the fastest ways to make sleep difficult is to become obsessed with whether you’re sleeping enough.

You cannot force yourself unconscious.

If your mind is racing, give it something calm to do. Try slow breathing, reading a few pages of a book or writing tomorrow’s priorities down so your brain doesn’t have to keep rehearsing them.

And don’t chase perfection. One ordinary night isn’t a disaster.

What matters most is consistency.

The ultimate sleep routine

If you want the simple version:

✓ Wake up at a similar time each day.
✓ Get morning daylight.
✓ Move your body.
✓ Cut caffeine early.
✓ Minimise alcohol.
✓ Dim the lights at night.
✓ Put your phone away.
✓ Make Chief Sleep about 30 minutes before bed.
✓ Give yourself enough time for at least seven hours of sleep.

Do that consistently and you’re no longer hoping for a good night’s sleep. You’re creating the conditions for one.

Please note: Chief Sleep is intended for adults. Always follow the directions on the label. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication or have a medical condition, speak with your healthcare professional before using supplements.
