If you'd like to request free Chief products to support your event, we'd love to hear from you! This page outlines our general approach (nothing is set in stone).

Why do we give away free products

We are happy to give away free products for brand exposure and to give people a chance to try them for free. When doing sampling events, we never give away a full product as it's just too expensive to do at scale, so when giving away free products for events we do ask for a little more value back than just the product itself (more on this below).

General approach

• We don’t usually like being in goodie bags because our cost per product is quite high and there's no context for the recipients.
• We prefer to be on display as an option for those who want it which gives us better brand exposure. We can also offer it as prizes.
• We would put it in a goodie bag where we have a higher chance of value, e.g. when the participants are all influencers or media, or if you're an ambassador.

What we ask for in return

To make the partnership mutually beneficial, we are interested in the following types of value exchange (not all are required, just to give you an idea):

• Content - e.g. a video review from you about a product, videos of people trying our products (capturing their reactions), video of people having a good time holding/eating our products, etc. Basically content we can use for our website, socials, ads, etc. It doesn't have to be high production quality (although that's great too), raw footage captured on your phone is all we need.
• Social shares - e.g. sharing our products with your audience and why you like them (please tag us so we can re-share). If you can share the raw video with us too that's appreciated.
• Reselling our products - if appropriate for your location we are always happy to provide more support if you're already stocking us or if you place a wholesale order to start stocking our products

In summary, the more benefit you can offer, the more we're able to support you for this and future events. We do have a budget though so we can't guarantee we'll have budget to support every event.
