Cook Time: 30 minutes
Dietary: Gluten-free, protein-rich

  • 1/2 cup organic salted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup natural almond butter
  • 1 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • Sea salt flakes to garnish

  1. Preheat your oven to 160C fan-forced and line a baking tray with baking paper.
  2. Combine all ingredients (excluding Choc Salted Caramel Collagen Bars) in a large mixing bowl, stirring with a wooden spoon to combine. Allow the mixture to rest for 5 minutes, so it holds together nicely.
  3. Add the Choc Salted Caramel Collagen Bars and stir through.
  4. Use your hands to form the mixture into 10 cookies. Place onto a lined baking tray, pressing down gently with a fork to flatten.
  5. Bake for approx. 20 minutes or until golden brown, making sure you keep an eye on them after 10 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely (approx 10 min). While the cookies are cooling, combine all the icing ingredients together in a small mixing bowl.
  7. Once cooled, spoon 1 tsp of icing onto each cookie, using the back of a spoon to spread evenly. Sprinkle with a good pinch of sea salt flakes.
