We love the vanilla Collagen Protein Powder! My partner says 'it's ruined coffee for him now' because he puts a teaspoon of this powder in his coffee every morning and so if a coffee doesnt have this powder in it, like from a cafe or at a friends house, then it just doesnt taste right!! Haha. I dont drink coffee, so I use this powder in porridge and baking :)

This protein powder is a delight to drink. It blends easily with water or milk and is very low in sugars. I sometimes add a bit of coffee to change the flavour a bit and can’t praise it highly enough.
I struggle with normal protein shakes and this one doesn’t give me any bloating or stomach problems at all.

Collagen is an odourless, tasteless, dairy free protein source that's a co-product of beef. We like it because it's a great environmentally friendly option and easier on the gut than other proteins. There's now a large body of evidence showing it's beneficial for gut health, joint and tendon health, recovery and hair, skin and nails.

Collagen isn’t a complete protein in the same way whey is, because it doesn’t contain meaningful amounts of L-tryptophan which is one of the nine essential amino acids your body can’t produce on its own.
But that doesn’t mean collagen can’t be used as a daily protein supplement, or that it has no role in supporting muscle and recovery. Collagen is still protein; it simply has a different amino acid profile.
Where collagen really shines is that it’s naturally rich in glycine, proline and hydroxyproline - amino acids that are important building blocks for connective tissue, including tendons, ligaments, joints, skin, hair and the gut lining.
Protein supplements are designed to supplement your diet, not replace all other sources of protein. So if you’re eating a varied wholefood diet that includes foods like meat, eggs, dairy, fish, nuts or seeds, you’re very unlikely to be relying on collagen as your only source of essential amino acids - including L-tryptophan.
In short: whey is more complete for muscle protein synthesis, while collagen offers a different set of amino acids that are useful addition to a well-rounded diet.
