This is a great product, although as a few others have noted the additional ring around the top does come unstuck but is not needed anyway. I do put mine in the dishwasher and dont have any concerns with loosing paint probably because I have changed my dishwashing soap to something way less corrosive and i suspect, way better for health. If your dish washing detergent is taking paint off, what is it doing to your insides?? I would happily own more than one.

I love Chief protein and this shaker looks and feels the part. The only issue is - it leaks. Cannot shake it without the liquid flying everywhere. Don't know if I got a dud, because other reviews look good.

The shaker is ok, but not great. The black has worn off. The metal piece around the edge of the lid has come unstuck, and the lid is difficult to clean.
