CHIEF UNFLAVOURED WHEY PROTEIN POWDER Chief Unflavoured Whey Protein Powder boosts the protein content of these bars without the junk, artificial sweeteners, or bloat found in many protein powders, helping to keep you fuller for longer and support muscle recovery. Being unflavoured, it blends seamlessly into the mix and lets the peanut butter, caramel, and chocolate flavours shine through, exactly as they should.

ALMOND FLOUR Almond flour is rich in vitamin E, magnesium and healthy monounsaturated fats, which support skin health, muscle function and heart health, all while keeping these bars naturally gluten-free. Its fibre and fat content also help slow digestion, promoting more stable energy and blood sugar levels so you stay satisfied for longer.

GHEE Ghee brings a rich, buttery depth to the caramel while offering a good source of fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E and K, plus butyrate, a fatty acid known to support gut health and digestion. It's also naturally lactose and casein-free, making it a gentler, more nourishing fat choice than regular butter for those with dairy sensitivities.

ORGANIC DARK CHOCOLATE  Packed with antioxidants, minerals, and flavanols, and of course, flavour. It can actively support heart health, smooth muscle function (thanks to the magnesium!) and improve brain function (hello, boost of serotonin!).

TAHINI  Tahini adds a rich, nutty depth to the caramel while bringing a good source of healthy fats, calcium and minerals like copper and manganese, which support bone health and energy production. Its naturally creamy texture also helps bind the caramel together, giving it that smooth, indulgent consistency without needing any refined oils or additives.

Ingredients

    blank

    • 1 + ¼ cup organic almond flour

    • 2 tbsp melted ghee

    • 2 tbsp organic maple syrup

    • 1 tbsp peanut butter

    • ¼ cup Chief Nutrition Unflavoured Whey Protein

    blank

    • ¼ cup organic peanut butter

    • ¼ cup hulled organic tahini

    • 2 tbsp maple syrup

    • 2 tbsp melted ghee

    • ½ tbsp chopped roasted organic peanuts

    • Pinch of salt

    blank

    • ¼ cup organic dark chocolate

    • 1 tsp organic coconut oil

    • ½ tbsp finely chopped roasted organic peanuts

    Directions

    1. Line a loaf tin with baking paper and set aside. To a small bowl, add all the base ingredients together and mix well until a crumbly but firm base is formed.

    2. Tightly pat the base mixture into the bottom of the loaf tin and set aside to harden in the freezer while completing the next steps.

    3. To another small bowl, add all of the peanut butter caramel ingredients together. If needed, slightly warm up over a double boiler on the stove or in the microwave to achieve a ‘caramel’ consistency. To the loaf tin, add the roasted peanuts on the base and then the caramel on top, ensuring to smooth the top down. Set in the freezer for an hour.

    4. Once set, slice into 11 even slices and set in the freezer again while preparing the chocolate shell.

    5. In another bowl (try to make sure this one is somewhat flat), melt the chocolate and coconut oil. Then add the finely chopped peanuts and stir through. For each slice of the snickers, coat the bars completely and set aside to harden. Once all bars are coated, set in the freezer for a further 5 minutes.

    blank

    1. We recommend slicing the 11 bars in two and enjoying that as a serving (22 servings)

    2. Feel free to add a pinch of flaky salt on top of the bars before the final setting in the freezer.

    blank

    1. Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 7 days (if they last that long!).
