Take 4 capsules per day. You can take them whole, or open the capsules to mix with food or drink (e.g. in a smoothie). We recommend taking them in the morning for energy throughout the day.
Please note:
- Some similar products recommend 6 capsules per day. This is fine, but is probably overkill (e.g. you do not need 540% of the RDI of B12) and it is possible to have too much vitamin A which is why we recommend 4 capsules per day.
- Taking supplements with coffee can interfere with the absorption of certain nutrients, we recommend a 30 minute window on either side. See FAQ for more information.

i have struggled with iron defficiency my whole life (im 39) and while i know that eating liver is the most iron rich food there is, it is not practical to have it every single day. this supplement is tasteless and easy to swallow. i have been taking 2 capsules in the morning and another 2 at night for about two weeks, but it does take time to fully have effect on the body so i will continue to take it with high hopes that it will level my symptoms out. thank you for this clean supplement!

Standard iron supplements use a synthetic form of iron that's harder for your body to absorb and often causes constipation. Our capsules contain the same type of iron found in meat - it absorbs better and comes with all the helper nutrients your body needs to actually use it.
