'Bounty' Collagen Protein Balls

Makes 10 Balls
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Dietary: Gluten-free, protein-rich, dairy-free

 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup desiccated coconut (plus 1/2 cup for coating)
  • 1 1/4 cup raw cashews
  • 1 tsp organic ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup Chief Dark Chocolate Collagen Protein 
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted

Method

  1. Blend the cashews, coconut, collagen protein, and cinnamon until finely ground. Add in the maple syrup and coconut oil the blend until well combined. 
  2. Wet your hands with water, and use your hands to roll into 10 even-sized balls and place into the freezer for at least 30 minutes. 
  3. Prepare a bowl with the remaining desiccated coconut.  
  4. Once the bounty ball mixture is ready, wet your hands and roll the balls the into the coconut. We like to press the coconut into the balls to help it to stick. Repeat this step with all balls. 
  5. Place in the fridge for at 30 minutes and enjoy!
