Cheat Gluten-Free Choc Collagen Fondant

Craving an ooey-gooey chocolate fondant that wont leave you feeling bloated? Look no further. Featuring the Chief Dark Chocolate Collagen Protein Powder, this cake is guaranteed to leave your gut happy and sweet-tooth satisfied.

Dietary: Gluten-free, Refined Sugar Free, Low Carb

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup organic cacao powder
  • 1 cup almond meal
  • 1/2 cup tapioca flour, sifted
  • 1/2 cup Chief Dark Chocolate Collagen Protein Powder
  • Pinch sea salt
  • 200g organic butter or ghee, melted
  • 2 organic eggs, whisked
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 pieces of dark chocolate or chocolate of choice (to place in the middle of the fondant)

 

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius and grease 2 ramekins with butter or olive oil.
  2. Add dry ingredients in a medium-sized mixing bowl, stirring with a wooden spoon to combine.
  3. Now add all wet ingredients to a small mixing bowl and stir gently to combine.
  4. Make a well in the dry mixture and carefully pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture. Gently fold the mixture together with a spatula and then evenly pour into the ramekins.
  5. Place 1 piece of chocolate in the middle of each fondant. Bake for 20 minutes. Once cooked, allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
