Trusted by the experts
Dr Naras Lapsys, Dietitian
"Every day, more and more studies confirm that processed food and in particular, processed carbohydrates, are just not good for us. Chief really tick all the boxes."
Jessica Turton, Dietitian
"Chief products give me the proteins, nutrients, and energy that I need - while saving me time! I love that their products are made from real food, and the added bonus is that they taste delicious."
Cliff Harvey, Nutritionist
"One of my 'go-tos' for a ketogenic diet. They're convenient, they include collagen (which is great for my beaten up ol' joints!), and MCTs to help you get into and sustain ketosis."

- Rated 2 out of 5 stars8 hours agoBiggest fan of these bars but the shrinkage is wild
I have been buying these bars for years now. I’m actually a chief bar addict. The bars used to be an actual bar now they are the size of a Tim Tam biscuit. The price remains the same but it’s now half the size. I’m starting to feel ripped off, every time I order they get smaller.
CNChief Nutrition8 hours agoHi Rose, thanks so much for your feedback! You're not the only one who raised this, so we have posted a video 😅: https://www.instagram.com/p/DcDacKqlEmt/
Rest assured while the bars are shorter they're still the same weight (i.e. the same amount of ingredients are going in). You can test this for yourself if you have a kitchen scale, they should be at least 45g (usually more like 48g to 50g) otherwise our machinery would have ditched them automatically. If you find one under 45g please let us know!
The issue has been when the bars are being formed they're squishing a little which makes them a different shape/shorter. We think we've solved it now so hopefully back to normal soon!

Tiahna G.Verified BuyerReviewingCollagen Protein Bars - Double Choc - Rated 5 out of 5 stars13 hours agoA Staple in My Nutrition Routine
Chief Collagen Protein Bars have been a staple in my nutrition for months now, and I absolutely love them!
They’re my go to when that 3pm afternoon energy slump and sugar craving hits, and they’re also perfect when I feel like something sweet after dinner.
High in protein, made with collagen, low carb and low sugar, they tick so many of my nutritional boxes, especially as someone who works in the health and wellness space and is mindful of what I’m putting into my body.
I also love how convenient they are. I always pack a few when I’m travelling or know I’m going to be on the road all day. They’re satisfying, keep me feeling full, and make it so much easier to have a better option on hand when hunger hits.
Definitely one of my favourite protein snacks and something I genuinely enjoy and continue to repurchase!

Cannot get enough of these. I have been eating the non-choc coated for some time, occasionally induldge in choc mint. And only recently did I discover these. New fave ritual; gym, coffee and double choc Chief while I do my beach loop. 10/10

Frequently Asked Questions

The best way to describe the taste would be like a nut butter biscuit. They're sweet but they’re very low in sugar because we use a natural sweetener (monk fruit). We avoid stevia because it can have a lingering aftertaste.
-
Collagen is an odourless, tasteless, dairy free protein source that's a co-product of beef. We like it because it's a great environmentally friendly option and easier on the gut than other proteins like whey. Research shows it's beneficial for gut health, joint and tendon health, recovery and hair, skin and nails.

Chief Collagen bars are an very healthy and natural snack that can be enjoyed daily by anyone. They're also great pre or post workout.

Yes! We don't market them as a "keto" product because strict ketosis followers might have an issue with the small amount of maple syrup in them (which is negligible, contributing <0.5g of sugar per bar) but we have designed the bars in consultation with nutritionists and keto experts who have confirmed they very much qualify as, and are recommended by those experts as, keto friendly.
-
Yes! Our kids love them and our whole range is perfect for kids. They are quite filling though so half a bar will probably be more than enough for the younger ones. Please note they do contain nuts.
-
Absolutely - that's when many women need more nutrition the most. Still, check with your healthcare provider first since they know your specific situation.
