These Protein Chocolate Chip Cookies are a wholesome twist on a classic treat! Soft, gooey, and loaded with chunks of rich dark chocolate. They’re made with Chief Nutrition’s Grass-Fed Whey Protein in Creamy Vanilla, giving them an extra protein boost to keep you satisfied while still tasting every bit like the real deal.
Packed with healthy fats from almond flour, butter, and dark chocolate, these cookies offer a more balanced way to enjoy dessert. They’re naturally gluten-free, lower in sugar, and higher in protein and fibre. Best of all, they’re quick and easy to make, and are perfect for an afternoon pick-me-up, a healthier sweet snack, or even a crowd-pleasing dessert.
Preheat your oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with baking paper.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the egg, softened butter, vanilla, and coconut sugar until creamy and well combined.
Add in almond flour, whey protein, baking soda, and salt. Mix until a dough forms.
Fold through chopped dark chocolate. Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes.
Using a cookie scoop or spoon, shape 10–12 cookies on the tray. Slightly flatten, leaving about 2 cm between cookies (they spread a little).
Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until golden on top. Let cool for 5–10 minutes before eating (they’ll be gooey when fresh out of the oven).
Dig in and enjoy!

These are AMAZING! Pro tip: roll your dough into a log in plastic wrap before refrigerating. Then it’s way easier to just slice your cookies for baking.
