Like jerky in a bar, but better
Unlike most jerky, we naturally preserve our beef bars just as our ancestors did - without nasty preservatives which destroy gut health. A lot of jerky is also surprisingly high in sugar, but not these bars, and they're slow dried which makes them much more tender than jerky. Better is an understatement.

Packed full of nature's original protein, with as much protein as 3 eggs per bar, to fill you up fast.

We source our beef from family owned organic farms where cattle forage freely their whole lives.
Low sugar

Lovely combo of a Beef Bar mixed with Mingle Burger Sauce Mix. Best bit is its Gluten and Dairy Free. Haven't been able to have a regular Cheeseburger in years ... but this hits the spot.

We didn't like the vinegar leftover taste when we ate one of these - however, I've been soaking a bar in water for 10mins or so, then adding to my large pot of homemade soup! And it's been a fabulous way to add in flavour and goodness.

I like the idea of jerky, but let’s be honest: it is super hard to chew and often tastes a little off. Cheezeburger bar is spot on for a palatable, easy to chew, easy do digest and easy to take around snack! Win-win for all!

I did not like the product at all. The fat from the brisket has not been rendered, and therefore its like eating meat flavored chewing gum. Also the actual spices and flavors used did not taste anything like a cheeseburger.

Just to clarify, the bars are air dried, not cooked, so the natural fat isn't rendered like in cooked meals. The fat is normal and is part of what makes the bars taste great (well, we think so!) just like in a biltong or jerky. Very happy to replace them for something else or offer a full refund if you prefer?

I enjoyed trying all the different beef bar flavours but this one is absolutely my favourite (traditional is the runner up). I lost more than 40kg in just over 6 months, and it's been a struggle trying to achieve a normal way of eating now when I've been obese my whole teens/adult life, but chief products are delicious and feel like a treat. When I experience uncontrollable hunger I can easily eat 4 of these beef bars in a row with some other food and it really helps. I would absolutely recommend these and all their other products. I hope they become a pernament flavour but in case they don't I bought enough to last me for a while. Thank you for everything you do chief, you are making a real difference in people's lives and I really appreciate it.

Everyone asks us this and the best description we've heard is it's like a roast! If you like meat, you'll love these savoury bars (and our biltong too).

They're similar but jerky is usually cooked (~70°C) or smoked for several hours, whereas biltong is soaked in a salt-and-vinegar brine before being hung to slowly air-dry over a number of days. Drying is better for the nutrient profile of the beef because more heat sensitive vitamins, like Vitamin B12, are retained. Traditionally, biltong is made with a simple combination of salt, vinegar, and spices. Jerky, on the other hand, does not contain vinegar and is more likely to contain secondary ingredients like sugar, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce.
