Like jerky in a bar, but better
Unlike most jerky, we naturally preserve our beef bars just as our ancestors did - without nasty preservatives which destroy gut health. A lot of jerky is also surprisingly high in sugar, but not these bars, and they're slow dried which makes them much more tender than jerky. Better is an understatement.
High protein
Packed full of nature's original protein, with as much protein as 3 eggs per bar, to fill you up fast.
Grass-fed and Finished
We source our beef from family owned organic farms where cattle forage freely their whole lives.
Low sugar
Naturally low sugar, with some natural sugars from a small amount of dried fruit (added for taste and vitamins).
Steak in a bar
80g of beef goes into each bar, we just remove the water leaving all the protein, minerals and essential vitamins.

I am your usual love to eat healthy but more leaning towards fruits and vege and not enough protein, especially for lunch. However, I would have a healthy and low calorie lunch and after a while, I reached out for the naughty stuff! My husband feeds me enough meat on weekends and we eat fish and salad for weekday dinners, so afternoon was really the only battle. This bar changed it all for me. I can still eat my half avo and chia seeds, and know that I can get great protein at 130kcal a bar, and it keeps me energetic and full for a long time. It even ended my cravings. Highly recommended. My husband also now eats this for lunch instead of yogurt pot or sandwiches.

Everyone asks us this and the best description we've heard is it's like a roast! If you like meat, you'll love these savoury bars (and our biltong too).

They're similar but jerky is usually cooked (~70°C) or smoked for several hours, whereas biltong is soaked in a salt-and-vinegar brine before being hung to slowly air-dry over a number of days. Drying is better for the nutrient profile of the beef because more heat sensitive vitamins, like Vitamin B12, are retained. Traditionally, biltong is made with a simple combination of salt, vinegar, and spices. Jerky, on the other hand, does not contain vinegar and is more likely to contain secondary ingredients like sugar, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce.

Some may warn you off dried meat during pregnancy because it's "not cooked" but there is nothing in our products that you would need to worry about while breastfeeding.
