Whey protein is a natural protein found in milk, filtered and dried into a powder that’s rich in essential amino acids, especially leucine, which plays a key role in muscle repair, energy, and overall health. For best results, consume 1 serve (30g) per day. To reduce plastic we don’t use a scoop so simply mix 4 heaped tablespoons.
Shake it: Mix 1 serve (30g) with 250–300ml of cold water or milk of your choice. Shake well and enjoy post-workout or as a high-protein snack.

Drink it: Add to your coffee for a creamy protein boost! Here’s how to do it right:
- Let your coffee cool slightly (around 60–65°C) before adding whey. If it’s too hot, the protein can clump or curdle.
- Mix your whey protein with a small amount of room temperature liquid first (e.g. a bit of milk or water) to make a smooth paste, then stir into your coffee.
- Use a Chief frother to give it a delicious creamy foam!
Please note: This guidance is based upon a 15ml tablespoon which is the international standard. Most tablespoons in your kitchen drawer will be 10ml to 15ml. In Australia, a standard measuring spoon for tablespoon is 20ml, so please use 2 flat tablespoons if you’re using a 20ml spoon. This is the best protein powder I have ever tasted! I truly believe it’s because they test for all the crap that you definitely do not want in your body. I love the fact that it’s grass fed, I can’t see on package if it’s also grass finished, would be awesome if it was.
I also love the fact that they’ve chosen monk fruit as their sugar alternative and not something that ends in “tol” they’re all no good for you. chief whey creamy vanilla enhances the taste of my yoghurt, my smoothies, my porridge and even my coffee I enjoy the first half cup of black or even when I use milk while it seems too hot to use the protein powder then I’ll chuck in the powder once cooled a bit then there is no curdled mess that you have to tip out and waste it’s nice and creamy.
Now, having said all of that, and this might be just me, I always have a drama when I want to use my rewards when they build up, I always have to get the people at Chief to fix it 🤔 this last purchase definitely did not have the code on it. Could be something I keep doing wrong each time though who knows, it won’t stop me from buying their products though 👍

The trick to a ridiculously delicious chocolate thickshake is a little bit of vanilla. This they paired with the dark chocolate collagen - offfft! So good. Put through the blender with a bit of frozen banana and peanut butter, and you are absolutely laughing. Delicious thickshake without all the +$15 price tag at the cafe. 😊

Vanilla ice cream and maccas thickshakes are my major achilles heel, and this protein powder is such a good replacement for them. This has become my new post dinner sweet treat when i get those cravings for something sweet and creamy. However, the good thing about this is the ingredients are super clean, no sugar and none of that awful artificial sweetener flavour that so many protein powders have. Every time i drink it i feel like its too good to be true. It's also been making my overnight oats taste amazing. Sticking to a high protein, low calorie diet feels so much easier with this! I've never spent so much on protein powder before, but it was totally worth it, and i'll definitely be a return customer.

While there's nothing really wrong with giving kids whey protein, it is a bit harder for some kids to digest and it's not required for most kids as they’re probably already getting what they can get from whey from dairy, etc.
For kids we generally recommend our Collagen Protein which is easier for kids to digest. Again, it's not required, but it is an easy way to sneak in more protein, especially at breakfast to help with focus and mood and/or to make foods more appealing to fussy eaters (e.g. add the choc flavour to oats or yoghurt for a chocolate version). The flavoured versions are an easy swap for sugary options like Milo (e.g. healthy choc milk or hot choc).
