Unlike most jerky, we naturally preserve our beef bars just as our ancestors did - without nasty preservatives which destroy gut health. A lot of jerky is also surprisingly high in sugar, but not these bars, and they're slow dried which makes them much more tender than jerky. Better is an understatement.

We source our beef from family owned organic farms where cattle forage freely their whole lives.
Low sugar
Naturally low sugar, with some natural sugars from a small amount of dried fruit (added for taste and vitamins).

80g of beef goes into each bar, we just remove the water leaving all the protein, minerals and essential vitamins.

The texture is weird compared to other healthy jerky/salami products I've tried. The taste is not bad, but the texture is strange — kind of like a paste after chewing.

I was recommended to try the beef bars by a friend so decided I'd try the range through the Starter pack.
After my order had not arrived (and later confirmed "lost" I the mail) I started to get sceptical and regretting buying these.
I was given some great communication (Thanks Cris) and confirmed my order would get to me, which it eventually did.
Well I wasn't disappointing when I tried the brisket bars or jerky. I was thrilled! To have a "protein" bar made of meat was a game changer (in my eyes). Im yet to try the collegen bars but am sure they'll be just as good.
I recommend buying and trying these for a different "protein" bar with flavour.

These bars are better than what I thought, I recently ordered 24 to last me the month and they lasted less than 2 weeks before they were all gone! I am currently prepping for a body building comp and they have been great to help with my macros. My only negative comment is that some bars are 2-4 grams lighter than advertised (only relevant cause I’m counting my macros strictly) how ever I’m still happy to keep purchasing them. Amazing! Yum! Satisfying!

I unfortunately did not tatse "brisket" (or my recollection of what plain brisket
tastes like) when I tried my first bar. I thought it was ok, but had some wierd taste to it.
I have not had a second one but I DO have another one in my lunch bag in case I feel like trying another.
Unfortunately, I went ahead and bought 12, since I did not think they were sold individually.
I doo eat a lot of beef jerky and the like, so my taste buds are "qualified", I think?
Hey, maybe they will grow on me???
I'd love to know what "Herbs and seasonings" you use on the brisket to get the end flavour !!

Everyone asks us this and the best description we've heard is it's like a roast! If you like meat, you'll love these savoury bars (and our biltong too).

They're similar but jerky is usually cooked (~70°C) or smoked for several hours, whereas biltong is soaked in a salt-and-vinegar brine before being hung to slowly air-dry over a number of days. Drying is better for the nutrient profile of the beef because more heat sensitive vitamins, like Vitamin B12, are retained. Traditionally, biltong is made with a simple combination of salt, vinegar, and spices. Jerky, on the other hand, does not contain vinegar and is more likely to contain secondary ingredients like sugar, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce.

Some may warn you off dried meat during pregnancy because it's "not cooked" but there is nothing in our products that you would need to worry about while breastfeeding. They are very safe and in our personal experience we've found them to be great for pregnancy and breast feeding. In fact, high quality organic grass-fed beef is a fantastic supplement for mums who are growing human beings (and an important source of iron).
