A fast dissolving powder that is a fantastic protein supplement for tissue building and repair, muscle mass growth and maintenance, and bone maintenance. It’s suitable for people of all ages.

Collagen peptides can survive temperatures as high as 300°C, making collagen one of the few protein powders that may be used in hot drinks, cooking and baking. It dissolves just as well in hot or cold water:

  • Mix with cold water for a Choc ‘Milkshake’
  • Mix with hot water for a very tasty Hot Choc
  • Add to your coffee for a delicious Mocha coffee
  • Great with Smoothies
  • Use as a chocolate powder on top of dessert or coffee
  • Use in Cooking, e.g. protein pancakes or porridge
  • Use in Baking, e.g. protein muffins

Serving Suggestions
For best results, consume 1 serve (15g) per day. To save on plastic we don’t use a scoop so simply mix 2 heaped tablespoons in 300ml of water and mix with a spoon, shaker or blender.

Please note: This guidance is based upon a 15ml tablespoon which is the international standard. Most tablespoons in your kitchen drawer will be 10ml to 15ml. In Australia, a standard measuring spoon for tablespoon is 20ml, so please use 2 flat tablespoons if you’re using a 20ml spoon. Note that 15ml is not 15g of powder and 20ml is not 20g of powder, weight depends on the density of what’s being measured. For more information see our FAQ.

Why we love Collagen Protein

Collagen protein contains a unique blend of amino acids that support:

Gut Health

Our unique amino acid blend helps heal and strengthen the gut lining, easing discomfort and supporting smoother, more efficient digestion.

Muscle Recovery

Glycine and hydroxyproline support tissue repair and reduce post-workout soreness, so you're ready for your next session.

Better Skin, Hair, Nails

Firmer, smoother skin. Stronger nails. Shinier hair. Collagen supports beauty from within - no serums needed.

Joints & Tendons

Reduce stiffness, ease joint pain, and stay active. Our collagen supports flexibility where you feel it most.

Superior Absorption

Our bioavailable formula delivers up to 90% absorption, so your body actually uses the protein - not just digests it.

No Bloating

Light on the stomach, heavy on results. Enjoy all the benefits of protein without the gas, bloating, or heaviness that comes with other proteins.

Avoid the Hidden Nasties in Your Protein Powder

You might be surprised by what’s really inside some of the “top-selling” protein powders. Look closely and you'll find a cocktail of ultra-processed junk your body doesn’t need - and they're all things we leave out:

Artificial sweeteners

Like sucralose and acesulfame potassium which are linked to gut disruption and long-term health concerns.

Synthetic emulsifiers

Like soy lecithin - ultra-processed and often completely unnecessary.

Fake flavours and colours

Including tartrazine and Allura Red, banned or restricted in parts of the world.

Fillers and thickeners

Like maltodextrin used to mask cheap ingredients, as a bulking agent to save cost and extend shelf life. But, it spikes blood sugar faster than table sugar and may also disrupt gut bacteria.

Made for pack flippers

If you ever flip the pack to check the back, you care about what you put into your body, and we do too.

We love the vanilla Collagen Protein Powder! My partner says 'it's ruined coffee for him now' because he puts a teaspoon of this powder in his coffee every morning and so if a coffee doesnt have this powder in it, like from a cafe or at a friends house, then it just doesnt taste right!! Haha. I dont drink coffee, so I use this powder in porridge and baking :)

Frequently asked questions

Got Questions? We've Got Answers

The collagen protein itself is tasteless and won't affect the taste of your coffee, smoothies, baking, cooking and more. You can't taste the collagen in our flavoured versions.

Collagen is an odourless, tasteless, dairy free protein source that's a co-product of beef. We like it because it's a great environmentally friendly option and easier on the gut than other proteins. There's now a large body of evidence showing it's beneficial for gut health, joint and tendon health, recovery and hair, skin and nails.

In our flavoured options there is 11g of collagen per 15g serve. In our unflavoured option there is 15g of collagen per 15g serve (100% collagen). Most of the research for collagen supplementation is on 2.5g to 15g of collagen per day. You can take more, but there doesn't seem to be additional benefit according to the studies. You may though like to take more if you're having trouble hitting your daily protein requirements.

We use 100% Australian grass-fed bovine hydrolysed collagen peptides. Grown, hydrolysed and packed in Australia.

Yes! And more environmentally friendly than other protein sources such as whey, soy and pea.

Collagen is a co-product of animal agriculture which means if we weren't using it for a health food product it'd be going to landfill.

While grass-fed collagen isn't any better nutritionally speaking than grain-fed collagen, grass-fed is kinder to the planet.

Chief Collagen Powder is a clean protein source that can be enjoyed daily by anyone. It's also great pre or post workout.

Yes! It's an essential nutrient. Collagen is also the most abundant protein in the body, so keeping up a healthy stock of collagen is important for us all, including kids who are growing fast.

Absolutely - that's when many women need collagen the most. Still, check with your healthcare provider first since they know your specific situation.

Yes!

Yes, absolutely. Still, check with your healthcare provider first since they know your specific situation.

No, collagen comes from animal sources so collagen is not vegan. There are plant based "collagen" powders starting to appear which essentially mimic the same amino acid profile of natural collagen, but to date there's not a lot of research showing it's efficacy and the research that does exist suggests you'd need 6 times as much to get a similar effect.

There are also vegan “collagen” products out there that don’t contain any collagen but claim to increase the body's own collagen production.

We do have many customers following a plant based diet who consume our products as a way to get important nutrients without eating meat. Think of collagen as an odourless, tasteless white powdered form of bone broth.

This collagen powder is certified Halal. It's not yet certified Kosher.

This collagen powder will last on the shelf for up to 24 months. The date on the product is a best before date, not an expiry date, which means it's a question of taste after that date.

This is because it can tend to get too thick and clumpy, and also to separate. Over time collagen protein in solution will start to denature (which occurs when proteins unravel and lose their structure) and it there is also a slight risk that microbes that may have been introduced from other ingredients or surfaces, could start growing. Refrigerating your shake will help preserve the structure of the protein, preventing unwanted clumping or separation, and also slow this down the growth of any microbes. Freezing will stop any micro growth and preserve the structure of the protein for a much longer period.

One serving is 15g which is approximately:

  • 2 heaped 15ml tablespoons, or;
  • 2 flat 20ml tablespoons

Most tablespoons in your kitchen drawer will be 10ml to 15ml. In Australia, a standard measuring spoon will have a 20ml tablespoon. Internationally, a standard tablespoon is 15ml.

Note that 15ml is not 15g of powder and 20ml is not 20g of powder, weight depends on the density of what's being measured.
